The COVID-19 Vaccine is Safe and Effective

This evening, I received the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID19 Vaccine. Thanks to Operation Warp Speed and the leadership of President Trump, this safe and effective vaccine is available to Americans in record time.

Before Operation Warp Speed, the typical timeline for vaccine development and approval lasted 10-15 years. But from the very second that COVID-19 was detected in America, we raced into action. Thanks to public-private partnerships, the reduction of burdensome red-tape and $14 billion in funding from the government, tens of millions of vaccine doses will be available to Americans this month.

As your elected official, I belie andve in leading by example, and it is my hope that I can encourage others to also get vaccinated once it is available to them.
